Lothar Seifert Model 358 Violin Bow
The Model 358 is made by Master Bowmaker Lothar Seifert and features a carefully selected pernambuco octagon stick with a silver-mounted ebony frog and Parisian eye.
The Seifert bow workshop was founded in 1932 by Oskar Seifert. Now in the second and third generations, Lothar Seifert and his sons are leading their workshop, making bows in small quantities by hand. Only using wood that has dried in their shop for at least 20 years, the resulting bows offer professional-level characteristics. Seifert bows have been played, appreciated, and collected by serious musicians for decades.
At Violin Pros, we can hand-select the weight, balance, and strength/flexibility to fulfill each customer's unique requirements.
