From its beginnings in 1924 and spanning more than three generations to the present day, the Franz Sandner workshop of Germany has produced exceptional instruments with special care, precision, and expert knowledge which express a true love of music. Based in Nauheim, Sandner instruments only use dried spruce wood for the top plates and well matured European maple for the backs, sides and the necks. A traditional spirit varnish is applied for a beautiful appearance and open sound.
