Döerfler 301KD Brazilwood Bow
With this bow, a finely adapted trio is put to use: Massaranduba for the stick, genuine African Ebony for the frog, and the finest mother of pearl or iris is used in the eyes and slides. As Brazilwood is very heavy and hard, these bows lie well in the hand of the musician. The dark black, very dense heart wood of the frog produces a pronounced harmonic tone.
Features:
- Round (7a Octagon)
- Ebony Frog, fully lined
- Single eye
- Three-Part button with eye
- Metal Blanc Winding
Döerfler violin bows bring harmony not only to the ears, but also the eyes. To be sure that these bows continue to inspire musicians, the design of a number of Döerfler bows has been optimized. To achieve a new harmonic appearance of the violin bow head, the rounding of the head's rear edge has been altered on both Brazilwood and Pernambuco bows.
The Döerfler 301KD is a good fit for advancing violinists, and will work well with the Scott Cao 750, 850, 950 and 1500 Artistic Series violins.
