Gustav August Ficker Markneukirchen Violin 1929 Guarneri Pattern
A fantastic example of the Golden Age of German violinmaking, this 1929 Gustav August Ficker sounds even better than it looks. It produces a clear, focused sound with excellent response and resonance. The top features tight, even-grained spruce with a medium-width horizontal flame on the back and ribs. It is varnished with a golden ground and a rich reddish-brown finish.
